Carson read Eric Carle’s The Grouchy Ladybug in school the other week. This conversation followed in the car.

Carson: Only the boy ladybugs are grouchy.

Me: Why?

Carson: I don’t know.

Me: Is it because all girls are nice and sweet?

Carson: Yeah.

Me: Aw.

Carson: Except Annelise isn’t always that way.
